Terms of Service

1. The service

SpineFactory turns a single illustration into a rigged, animated Spine skeleton with exportable assets. The service is operated by [OPERATOR]. We may change, improve or discontinue features over time.

2. Accounts & access

• You need an account to use the studio. Access is by admin approval — a new account has no access until reviewed.
• You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the images you upload and to the rigs, animations and exports you generate (“your content”). You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to operate and provide the service to you (including sending it to the AI providers in section 5).

You represent that you own or have the rights to the images you upload and that they don’t infringe anyone’s rights or violate the law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SpineFactory to:

• upload content you don’t have the rights to, or that infringes IP or privacy;
• create illegal, hateful, harassing or sexually exploitative material;
• attack, overload, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service; or
• resell or abuse the service in a way that harms us or other users.

5. AI-generated output

Rigging, animation and asset generation use third-party AI models (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI). Output is produced automatically and provided “as is” — we don’t guarantee it is accurate, unique or fit for a particular purpose, and you’re responsible for reviewing it before use.

6. Availability & warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may perform maintenance or impose limits.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [OPERATOR] is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users. On termination, the licences you granted end, except as needed to comply with law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and disputes are subject to the competent courts there, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
